Health and Safety
Burgess Creek is committed to implementing and maintaining a Health, Safety and Environment program that protects our staff, our contractors, visitors, neighbours, our property and the environment.
Supervisors have primary responsibility for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance and the implementation of the Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety Policy. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a working knowledge of applicable EHS laws and regulations
- Supervising compliance with the Corporate EHS Policy and all EHS principles, procedures and programs established by the Company
- Actively and regularly communicating to employees and others their commitment to the corporate EHS policy, EHS principals and programs and compliance with the EHS laws
- Budget for the necessary resources and compliance activities including training, compliance publications, equipment or services necessary for compliance programs
